In partnership with Brooks + Scarpa Architects, Promise Energy was hired by the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works Bureau of Engineering Convention Center and the Bureau of Tourism and Development to prepare complete Bid Scoping Documents for the Design/Build installation of a large solar photovoltaic array on the roof of the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The Los Angeles Convention Center is a city-owned, privately managed facility hosting prominent national and international events. There are over 2 million square feet of overall space in three inter-connected buildings. The South Hall Solar Roof Project will install an approximately 2.4MW Solar PV system on the roof of the largest building. It's close proximity to iconic 10-110 Freeway intersection in downtown Los Angeles make it a high profile demonstration of the Department’s commitment to green building, clean energy, and sustainability.
