Solar Case Study Client

Paloma Terrace is a 59-unit new construction low-income family development owned by the Retirement Housing Foundation. The 56.2 kW photovoltaic system extends over 2 rooftops, and covers 90% of solar available roof as required for their low-income housing tax credits. The solar system is estimated to produce 87,473 kWh/yr, and designed to help the project achieve LEED Gold certification. Promise Energy was hired by RHF Housing to consult on the project during Pre-Development in preparation for submitting for tax credits. We were then engaged to coordinate with Killefer-Flammang architects during the design phase to produce engineered drawings of the solar system. Westport Construction, the general contractor on the project, ultimately selected Promise Energy to install the system based on our competitive pricing and experience working on affordable housing projects in LADWP territory. Upon completion of the system, Paloma Terrace qualified for a $20,000 rebate from LADWP.
